Trade Union Campaign to Repeal the 8th Amendment is a group for organising trade union activists and members from all trade unions in the fight to repeal Article 40.3.3. We are supported by the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, Unite, Mandate, the Communications Workers Union (CWU), the Technical Electrical Engineering Union (TEEU), the youth committees of ICTU, Unite and the CWU, the Dublin, Bray & District and Waterford trades councils, in Britain we are supported by the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and train drivers’ union ASLEF and Unison.

We are affiliated to the Coalition to Repeal the 8th Amendment – which has over 80+ affiliates including Amnesty International, the National Women’s Council and the Irish Council of Civil Liberties.
